Design Distinction 1: Live Video IMAG (Image Magnification) System
Omega was also retained to evaluate the existing live video IMAG (Image Magnification System) and found excessive digital signal delay within the system, causing a "strobing" effect in the video image on the screens. This is very disconcerting when the timing of the ministers motion & live action lags visually on the video screens from the real time motion on the platform. We evaluated each video component within the system and determined the primary cause was very significant digital video signal delay within the video switcher, in addition to some video signal processing errors. We corrected the processing errors and arranged a successful demo of a higher performance HD video switcher that the church was very pleased with.
