Video projection systems generally utilize two primary projection technologies; LCD and DLP. LCD projectors are the lowest in cost while offering excellent image quality for computer sourced presentations. Live and taped video is considered "reasonable" quality, but would not be suitable for higher performance video production or broadcast systems display. DLP projectors utilize digitally controlled "light mirrors" which provide superior image quality compared to LCD displays, especially favoring live video images. >>
