<< | AUDIO NATURALNESS
A third important goal in designing a sound reinforcement system, is naturalness. A system cannot be considered high quality unless the speech and music sounds natural and not "hollow," "tinny," or otherwise distorted. An important factor for achieving naturalness is the sound localization by the hearer. In other words, where does the sound appear to come from? Hopefully, sound energy, both amplified and live, should appear to come from the person talking or the artist performing. If not, an element of naturalness is lost. >>
