<< | AUDIO FIDELITY

Another important goal in designing a sound reinforcement system is audio fidelity. The common description of a sound system found in the home is "Hi-Fi," meaning "High Fidelity." This means the system output through the loudspeakers accurately reproduces the input of the music source. A well designed sound reinforcement system should faithfully and accurately reproduce the sound signature of common instruments like a grand piano, electric bass, orchestral instruments, acoustic and electronic drums, etc. The sound must also be projected sometimes over 200 feet in larger sanctuaries. >>
