<< | PRIORITY FOR CHORAL, VOCAL TEAM & RHYTHM BAND PERFORMANCE
The choir loft area in particular requires an acoustical design providing "focused" sound reflective, and diffusive surfaces that will "reflect" sound back to the choir, primarily. The design of floor and wall surfaces in and around the rhythm band must provide a more sound absorptive finish that promotes an acoustical performance that is not as "live" as what an orchestra would prefer. A broadcast sound stage is a good example of this. The acoustical sound perception is much more "dry", promoting the contemporary sound signature of an evangelical church rhythm band that includes a strong piano, electric bass, keyboards, electric & acoustic guitars, and drums, primarily. >>
