The Dream and Vision
Responding to people's needs and equipping the body is what has brought about this tremendous growth. This has been a driving concept in the heart of Senior Pastor Roger Barrier.
John Wyatt, Minister of Music, Casas Adobes Baptist Church, talked about worship. "Worship is a very strong emphasis at Casas. It has been for a number of years. Sunday morning and Sunday night, at both it's very common to hear, 'I first came, all I could do was just weep.' I personally believe it's not because of the music or anything else. It's the presence of God and people are so hungry for that. Their lives and souls are just parched for the presence of God and whenever they encounter that life, sometimes the response is to weep."
