The Solution
The renovation included Interior Architectural Design, Site Lines, Room Acoustics, Sound Systems, Video Projection and Theatrical Lighting. A Choir Monitor System was used that would allow the choir not only to minister in confidence by hearing themselves, but also the ability to hear clearly and concisely the spoken word by the pastor. As Steve states, "the choir, now being able to hear themselves and being able to hear every spoken word from the platform, has had their worship experience heightened tremendously. Of course that has facilitated us trying to make disciples out of people when we can communicate more effectively."
In addition to the choir monitor system, a personal monitor system was developed for the orchestra and rhythm band. This system provides the orchestra a distributed monitor mix to bring in what they need to hear to function in their gifting. Like the choir, this allows them to minister in confidence.
