The Solution
The first thing Omega did was to conduct a comprehensive on-site study of Shandon's ministry, in which Omega evaluated the personality and atmosphere of their music, worship style and preaching style. Dave also shared the vision of the music ministry in great detail, which allowed clear direction for design. Pastor Dick Lincoln, Shandon's Senior Pastor, provided valuable insight to the overall vision and direction of the church. Dave stated "Omega was able to help us to expand our vision by communicating how the use of technology could support and strengthen our ministry." Dave further stated that, "Omega knows the dynamics of worship, applies acoustical engineering, lighting and video with the worship atmosphere and application in mind. With Omega's technical system design team (Acoustics, Sound, Video, House and Theatrical Lighting, Production Intercom, Rehearsal Room design, Gym acoustical treatments, Youth Room acoustical treatments), accuracy of predictable outcome (from references and experience) is achieved. Although there is no 100% guarantee that the room will perform as designed, the results played out mostly as designed. Omega also had techniques and solutions in mind in case of building problems outside of their control."
